Chemists discuss bonding through chemistry on opening day of ACS Spring 2022

WASHINGTON, March 10, 2022 — The American Chemical Society (ACS) Spring 2022 opening session will focus on how the theory of chemical bonding can take on a fresh spin and impact the rapidly rising field of quantum information science.

Opening session: Bonding through Chemistry
Sunday, March 20, 3 – 5 p.m. ET (noon – 2 p.m. PT)

ACS Spring 2022 will be a hybrid meeting, both in-person and virtual, in San Diego on March 20-24, with on-demand content available through April 8. ACS Spring 2022 will be a vaccination-required and mask-recommended meeting for ALL attendees, exhibitors, vendors, and ACS staff who plan to attend the in-person meeting in San Diego, CA. All individuals will need to be fully vaccinated by March 6, 2022, 14 days from the start of ACS Spring 2022. Acceptable proof of vaccination will be required. All attendees are expected to fully comply with all health and safety guidelines. Failure to adhere to the requirements could lead to removal from the venue or other disciplinary action.
