ChemClubs Join Coins for Clean Water Initiative
Help us raise $5,000 to provide clean water to more than 650 children for a year!
More children die from a lack of clean drinking water than from HIV/AIDS and Malaria combined. To help provide water to those in need, ACS has partnered with Procter & Gamble (P&G) to purchase water purifier packets that, for 10 cents, can treat 10 liters of water.
Now you can help, too! The ACS ChemClub is joining the ACS Coins for Cleaner Water Initiative to raise $5,000 by May 2013 to purchase water purifier packets. That is less than $10 per club!
The packets are being distributed through the Children’s Safe Drinking Water (CSDW) foundation.
