On July 18-20, 2022, the American Chemical Society hosted the LEADS Conference, a 3-day event focused on preparing high-potential early career professionals and students for successful and impactful careers in the chemical enterprise. This event, conceived by ACS Past-President, Luis Echegoyen, brought together highly esteemed chemists, scientists, professionals, and Nobel Laureates for networking, self-reflection, career exploration, mentoring, and technical discussions.
