ACS Nigeria Chapter

The 10th Annual Symposium of ACS Nigeria, tagged: Abuja 2025 is scheduled to hold 4-7, May, 2025. With the theme: Advancing Sustainability Through AI-Driven Chemistry, will hold at the National Open University of Nigeria, Abuja. It is aimed at providing an international platform for students, early career and experienced chemists from both the academia and industrial to discuss and share ideas on how chemistry and Artificial Intelligence can synergize to advance sustainability. Speakers have been invited from the US, Europe and Africa.

As with previous symposia, the event targets between 500 to 1000 participants from over 200 institutions, industry and government parastatals from across Nigeria and other countries. Previous symposia have featured speakers from the US, UK, Germany, South Africa and Spain. ACS Nigeria has previously partnered with the ACS, RSC, IUPAC, Bayer, OPCW, Merck, and a host of local organizations, institutions and parastatals during previous symposia.
