The SARS-CoV-2 pandemic demonstrates the need for measurement tools for rapid and accurate diagnostics, remote measurements and fundamental studies on virus structure and function. This session highlights recent advances in sensing, microfluidics, sequencing, mass spectrometry and optical spectroscopy for to virus diagnostics and characterization. There will be an emphasis on SARS-CoV-2.
