In-Person Sessions
What is the format of in-person poster sessions?
From Sunday, March 22 through Wednesday, March 25, poster presentations will take place in-person during scheduled sessions, providing capability for live interactions.
In-person poster presenters will receive a scheduling notice which will have their poster board number assignment. Onsite check-in will not be required prior to the poster session.
Traditional Paper/Cloth Posters: All materials must be confined to a 4' high by 8' wide display board. Authors can mount their poster up to one hour before the scheduled session start time. Pushpins will be available at the poster session. Authors must remain with their posters for the duration of their scheduled session, as indicated in the technical program. All posters must remain up until the session ends; they must be removed within one hour. ACS cannot assume responsibility for materials beyond these time limits.
Digital Interactive Posters (iPoster): iPosters are interactive, multimedia presentations displayed on a large format, high-definition monitor, and will be created by the presenter within our digital poster platform. Those selected to present an iPoster during the meeting will be sent detailed instructions after acceptance.
Presenter training resources will be available before the meeting and will include additional information.
Do I need to upload my poster to the virtual platform if I am presenting in-person?
Paper/Cloth poster presentations do not require any poster upload. Digital iPosters must be created and finalized within our iPoster platform.
I still haven't received my Certificate of Presentation, who should I contact?
All presenters will be issued digital certificates via email from ACS Meeting Programming Support (maps@acs.org) within 6-8 weeks from the conclusion of ACS Spring 2026. If it has been over 8 weeks since the conclusion of the meeting, please contact maps@acs.org to inquire about your digital certificate.
Virtual Sessions
Can I present a poster virtually if I am unable to travel to Atlanta to attend the meeting in-person?
The digital meeting does not include poster presentations. Poster presentations are only available to in-person presenters.
