Opportunity Description:

Leads Discovery & Optimization (LDO) is a diverse group of scientists and engineers, providing critical assay information to therapeutic research centers (TRCs) throughout research and early development (R&ED). We are seeking a highly motivated and innovative co-op student to join the Proteomics group within LDO. Team supports programs across the all TRCs as well as translational medicine with proteomics study, and also develops new proteomics platforms to tackle challenging scientific questions. The co-op will closely work with a senior scientist to develop and apply cutting-edge chemical proteomics methodology in the early stage discovery pipeline. The co-op will benefit from state-of-the-art proteomics laboratories at our Cambridge site and have extensive laboratory experiences in proteomics sample preparation both manually and with automated platform, chemical biology, instrumentation and proteomics data analysis. The co-op will have the opportunity to participate in departmental and project team meetings to gain valuable insights into drug discovery and development process, and interact with individuals with a range of scientific and pharmaceutical leadership backgrounds.
