Post-Doctoral Researcher Medicinal Chemistry In-Silico Drug Discovery: Start Up is seeking a postdoctoral researcher with experience in organic synthesis and in-silco methods for drug discovery. Experience with molecular docking, computational chemistry, chemoinformatics and/or protein modeling methods are half of the skills needed to succeed. Experience with multistep synthesis and purification of molecules for testing is the complete package. Significant computer skills, as well as mechanical abilities will help you succeed, but most of all—a willingness to test ideas in the lab and turn them into reality is the focus. Experience with maintaining laboratory equipment such as NMR, HPLC, and Mass Spectrometry is an advantage. Demonstrable appreciation for laboratory safety, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently are also essential.
