Opportunity Description:
The Bose Lab at Mayo Clinic Arizona is actively seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral fellow specializing in polymer chemistry to join an interdisciplinary team of biomedical engineers and basic scientists. The lab, located within the Department of Physiology and Biomedical Engineering and the Department of Immunology, is focused on pioneering next-generation cell-based therapies for treating human diseases through the intersection of biomaterial science, cellular engineering, and immunology. The applicant will focus on developing next-generation biomaterials and surface coatings with anti-fibrotic and immunomodulatory properties. The research will involve developing polymer libraries and screening in relevant biological systems. They will work closely with other members of the team and our clinical and basic immunology collaborators at Mayo Clinic Rochester and other institutions.
