Opportunity Description:
The Qi laboratory at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute is looking for exceptional Postdoctoral Fellows in cancer biology focusing on chemistry and chemical biology aspects of the research. The Qi lab studies gene regulatory pathways using the emerging discipline of chemical biology. Successful candidates will work with an interdisciplinary team of scientists including medicinal chemists, biochemists, computational biologists, and cancer biologists to establish the mechanistic understanding of targeted protein inhibition in cancer. The successful candidate will perform research on developing chemical probes that will help make fundamental insights to cancer biology. We expect that novel therapeutics for human clinical investigation will emerge directly from these efforts through academic/industry collaborations. The postdoctoral fellow will be affiliated with the Department of Cancer Biology at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, the Department of Medicine at Harvard Medical School and the Broad Institute.
