Our goal is to engage with all attendees to share information about ACS’s unique community and ACS programs, products and services. Stop by any time during the Expo, Monday and Tuesday from 11:00 AM to 5:00PM or Wednesday from 10:0AM to 2:00PM.

1:00 PM | Applied Materials Are All Around: Get to Know the ACS Applied Materials Editors Come find out about the ACS Applied Materials family of journals, straight from the Editor-in-Chief and Deputy Editors. Learn more about the editors’ research backgrounds, vision for the journals, and new developments across the portfolio. The editors welcome prospective and current authors & reviewers to ask questions about submissions or the journals’ scope. |
2:00 PM | National Chemistry Week Panel The Committee on Community Activities (CCA) and the ACS are excited to highlight this year’s theme for National Chemistry Week at ACS Fall 2023 on Monday, August 14, from 2 pm-3 pm. During this event, you will learn about this year’s National Chemistry Week theme, “The Healing Power of Chemistry,” how to participate in your community, and conduct a live hands-on experiment. 3:00 PM | ACS Publications and Open Science Open access is just one facet of open science, which is gathering momentum around the world. This short presentation will demonstrate how ACS is providing researchers and institutions with tools to embrace open science, including responses to public access mandates. |
3:30 PM | ACS Around the World An international panel in the ACS Theatre will be held on Monday, August 14th from 3:30-4:30pm. This event will highlight the benefits of international membership and international professional and student chapters through the sharing of personal experiences of international guest panelists and product owners at ACS. |
