Attending ACS Fall 2023? Visit the Member Lounge during the meeting to engage, learn, and grow with your fellow ACS members. From Sunday, August 13 through Thursday, August 17, members will have the opportunity to snap a selfie at the #ProudToBeAChemist photobooth, receive complimentary giveaways, and learn about ACS various programs and services.

Are you Proud To Be A Chemist ? Share your story with us! As a member of ACS we want to capture your story to share the ways ACS has impacted you, your career, and the role you play in shaping the future of chemistry.
The video interviews will be approximately 10-15 minutes long, and a producer will guide you through the entire process.

Senior Chemist Lounge
3:00-5:00 PM
The Senior Chemists Committee (SCC) wishes to invite all ACS meeting attendees to join us in the “Senior Chemists Lounge” in the Moscone Center, South Lobby, South Building, from 3:00 to 5:00 PM on Sunday, August 13. Take a break from your busy ACS meeting schedule to relax and enjoy various beverages and snacks. Socialize with senior chemists and other meeting attendees and learn more about SCC activities and programs.

International Networking Happy Hour
4:30-6:00 PM
Calling all international ACS Fall Attendees! Following the “ACS Around the World” International panel presentation, join us for our International Networking Happy Hour in the ACS Member Lounge from 4:30-6pm. Mingle with faces new and old while enjoying food and beverages, a raffle giveaway, and a fun photobooth feature. Also in attendance will be our very own (and photogenic) Professor Molenium! We can’t wait to see you there!

Office of DEIR & Bath and Body Works Activation
2:00-4:00 PM
Learn more about the chemist behind your favorite scents and how they entered this exciting alternate career path. The interactive display will feature products from the Perfumer Series and Heritage Month campaign. As part of their continued support for diversity in chemistry, The Bath and Body Works Foundation continues to support the ACS Scholars Program mission to help open doors for the next generation of chemists to pursue their passion for chemistry.
