A way to raise the profile of your group and policy issues that are important to chemists is to go to legislators' Town Hall meetings and ask questions.
Steps:
Find out about Town Hall meetings and other open office hours.
- Join a legislator’s email distribution list.
- Contact a legislator's district office to ask about any upcoming Town Hall meetings.
Plan what you want to say at the meeting.
