American Chemical Society hosts Career Fair at national meeting Aug. 16-19

WASHINGTON, July 21 –– The American Chemical Society (ACS) will hold a Career Fair August 16-19 for employers and members seeking employment during its 238th national meeting being held at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center.

The fair is a major opportunity for employers to promote their companies to a wide array of potential job candidates. The fair provides employers with an opportunity to personally discuss employment opportunities and to post unlimited openings, search a database of submitted resumes and schedule interviews with candidates.

ACS members seeking employment can submit resumes for consideration and request interviews with companies of interest. The fair is available only to ACS members, but open to employers who wish to participate. Job seekers and employers who want to participate should go to www.acs.org/careers and register by clicking in the box that says “ACS Career Fair.” Registration for the Fair is open from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 17 and Tuesday, Aug. 18, and from 8 a.m. to Noon on Wednesday, Aug. 19.
