Christina C. Bodurow of Eli Lilly & Co. elected to board of world’s largest scientific society

WASHINGTON, Nov. 3, 2016 — Christina C. Bodurow, Ph.D., senior director of external sourcing in the medicines development unit at Eli Lilly & Co. in Indianapolis, was elected director of District ll

of the American Chemical Society (ACS), the world’s largest scientific society. She will serve on the board of directors for the next three years.

Bodurow received her B.A. in chemistry from Kalamazoo College in Michigan and her Ph.D. in organic chemistry from Princeton University. She lives in Indianapolis.

“The ACS has the power to significantly impact the future of chemistry throughout the world and I look forward to working with the members and leadership to realize that goal,” says Bodurow. “We can do this through our collective efforts to continuously improve chemistry education, employment and engagement of our membership and the public.”
