Plenaries at American Chemical Society meeting: Chemistry’s impact on global economy

WASHINGTON, Aug. 10, 2017 — Scientists in two plenary talks will explore topics related to the “Chemistry’s Impact on the Global Economy” theme of the 254th National Meeting & Exposition of the American Chemical Society (ACS), the world’s largest scientific society. The meeting will take place Aug. 20 to 24 in Washington, D.C.

The presentations, which are among nearly 9,400 scheduled to take place at the meeting, will be held on Sunday, Aug. 20, from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m., in Ballroom A&B of the Walter E.
