WASHINGTON, March 16, 2023 — Journalists who register for the spring meeting of the American Chemical Society (ACS) will have access to more than 10,000 presentations; the meeting theme is “Crossroads of Chemistry.”
Sessions about the environment and sustainability include:

- Advances in Renewable Materials
- Decarbonizing Construction Materials and Manufacturing Processes
- Designing and Discovering Innovative Solutions to Achieve a Sustainable Future
- Emerging Materials for Solar Energy Conversion and Utilization
- Environmental Justice: Achieving Global Equity through Green and Sustainable Chemistry
- Sustainable Energy and Water for the Operational Environment
ACS Spring 2023 is a hybrid meeting, being held virtually and in-person in Indianapolis on March 26–30. Journalists are invited to request press credentials and receive complimentary registration. Reporters (staff and freelance) and public information officers at government, nonprofit and educational institutions can request press credentials by completing this form.
