Two Year College Community of Practice

The inaugural 2024 2YC Community of Practice is a cohort of faculty members from two year colleges that are interested in developing, improving, and implementing active learning techniques in their courses.

The 12-month program consists of monthly virtual gatherings (75 minutes each) to learn more about active learning techniques.

Participation will be limited to 15 faculty members and each will receive a $5000 stipend for partipating, as well as the opportunity to present at an ACS meeting (travel, registration, and lodging will be covered).  Participants will be required to attend a minimum 9 of 12 sessions and produce an active learning module to be shared with the broader two-year college faculty community.
