Susan R. Morrissey, Ph.D.

Susan R. Morrissey, Ph.D., is the VP of Communications at ACS and Publisher of Chemical & Engineering News (C&EN). She oversees science communications, society communications, multimedia, social media efforts, webinars, ACS web presence and C&EN, among other things. During her 21 years at ACS, she has held positions in External Affairs & Communications and in C&EN prior to her current position. She holds an undergraduate degree in chemistry from Franklin & Marshall College and a Ph.D. in chemistry from Texas A&M University.
