ACS ChemLuminary Awards 2024

ChemLuminary Awards are symbolized by the words Chem Luminary with a flame

The ACS ChemLuminary Awards ceremony took place on Tuesday, August 20, at the Sheraton Denver Downtown. The event kicked off with a poster session and reception. V. Michael Mautino, retired from Covestro,  was the recipient of the 2024 Award for Volunteer Service to the American Chemical Society and delivered the keynote address. Following this, 21 committees of the Society presented the awards, and the event concluded with a dance social. This year's theme was "Elevating the Dedication of Our Volunteers," which celebrates the work of our volunteers in improving people's lives through the transforming power of chemistry.
