Member-driven
Every governance role — from councilor to board member — begins with an election. Members have a direct voice in who leads and how.
Transparent
ACS governance meetings, minutes, bylaws, and election results are available to members. Openness builds trust.
Volunteer-led
The vast majority of ACS governance work is done by volunteer scientists who give their time because they believe in the mission.
