Artificial Photosynthesis—Making Fuels Directly from Sunlight

ACS Webinars

Nathan Lewis will present about the discovery and development of materials and a system architecture for the direct production of fuels from sunlight.  The membrane-embedded microwire array approach is inspired by nature and serves as a platform to develop a synergistically integrated system of light absorbers, catalysts, and membranes to facilitate the efficient, robust, safe, and cost-effective production of fuels directly from sunlight.

What You Will Learn

  • Rationale for Solar Fuels
  • Principles of Solar Fuels Production
  • Scientific Progress and Frontiers in Solar Fuels Production
