B.S., Chemistry, Emory University
Ph.D., Organic Chemistry, The Ohio State University
I am a trained synthetic organic chemist with 20 years of experience in research and development and manufacturing environments. I have worked in both large and small companies. I received my B.S degree in chemistry from Emory University. While at Emory I did undergraduate research and also a internship at Johnson and Johnson. I followed by Ph.D at The Ohio State University with a two-year post-doc at the University of Virginia.
My first industry position was with Bristol-Myers Squibb on the east coast. At BMS I worked on project in all phases of development from pre-IND to Phase 1 to Phase 3 and tech transfer to manufacturing. After nearly two decades with BMS I moved west and joined the Organic Production team in manufacturing at Thermo Fisher Scientific. After three years with TFS, I joined Revolution Medicines, where I am currently a Senior Scientist responsible for process chemistry and CMC development.
