Website Outage: Nov. 20, 12 a.m. – 5 a.m.
To accomplish crucial infrastructure upgrades related to login functionality, an outage will be required on various parts of the Society and Pubs, and C&EN web properties. Specifically:
- www.acs.org will be unavailable. Users will see a message explaining the planned outage.
- The ACS Network will be available, but users will not be able to log in.
- pubs.acs.org will be available, but individual users will not be able to log in.
- C&EN will be available, but both institutional users and individual users will not able to log in to access protected content.
- Any application requiring ACS ID login will not be available. This includes the renewal application, membership application, etc.
This outage will occur on Tuesday, Nov. 20 from approximately 12:00 a.m. – 5:00 a.m.
