Malaysia Chapter

The Malaysia International Chemical Sciences Chapter was officially established on April 15th 2014. ACS Council voted, at the ACS National Meeting in Dallas on March 19, 2014, to approve the application of the Malaysia International Chemical Sciences Chapter application. The application was ratified by the ACS Board of Directors on April 15, 2014 to operate under the provision of the ACS Bylaw IX (Constitution XIV).

Accomplishments  

  1. Setting up of the Malaysia chapter, launching event, and successful registration with the Registrar of Societies (ROS) Malaysia.
  2. Inaugural Global Innovation Challenge event, made possible with the Global Innovation Grant from ACS International Activities.
  3. Scientific Events and Outreach Programs, made in collaboration and support from various industries and local agencies.
  4. ‘Chemistry as Career’ Seminar by ACS International Activities Office staff.
