The Hungarian chapter extended its ties with the United States academic community through their Workshop on Molecular Catalyst Design for Green Chemistry. Their participation in COST Action D29, Sustainable/green chemistry and chemical technology, has led to a one-day syposium on Green Chemistry in Hungary . In the upcoming year, this chapter expects the formation of a virtual Hungarian Green Chemistry Institute, as well as 12 working groups of Action D29.
