What do you love about your job?
My flexible schedule and ability to travel anywhere and have connections world wide. I also enjoy being able to investigate in an area I enjoy and be paid for it! Interacting with so many different cultures world wide in academics is certainly a plus.

What has been the most exciting part of your career so far?
Being able to see how well students and postdocs do after working in my lab. To me this is the biggest reward.

What would you tell yourself at age 18?
Live every day like there is no tomorrow, because time flies!

How has ACS Scholars impacted your life and career?
It helped me focus on research and lab work my senior year in college.
