What do you love about your job?
I have the opportunity to return the favor and become a mentor to other students. I can give insights, advice, and encouragement to students to help with retention at the collegiate level and aid their transition after graduation.

What has been the most exciting part of your career so far?
I have the ability to design research projects to solve any problem I desire! Also, I can train others to do the same as well!

What would you tell yourself at age 18?
I would tell my 18-year-old self to be patient, persistent, and open to change. As I have grown throughout the years, I realized that everything will not go as planned. However, as you keep pushing, new opportunities will arise. You don't have to have everything figured out. As you go through college and life, you will begin to figure out exactly what it is you want to do. Also, don't be afraid to ask for help. People are willing and eager to see you succeed!

How has ACS Scholars impacted your life and career?
The ACS Scholars Program has kept me motivated throughout my college experience. From the very beginning, the program found a mentor for me and set up meetings to make sure I remained engaged in college and received answers to any questions I had.
