What do you love about your job?
I enjoy being able to work with undergraduate and graduate students in the lab. My institution also offers a great deal of professional development opportunities on campus.

What has been the most exciting part of your career so far?
The most exciting part of my career so far has been being a role model and mentor to others following similar paths in STEM.

What would you tell yourself at age 18?
Stay on course. Though life may seem uneasy at times, do your best to enjoy the obstacles along the way.

How has ACS Scholars impacted your life and career?
The ACS scholars program has allowed me to connect with other scholars. I actually have a great friend who was also a part of the program and we continued to push each other in graduate school and now in our careers.
