What do you love about your job?
I love the opportunity to work on projects that positively impacts communities such as infrastructure improvements and climate change resiliency and mitigation strategies.
What has been the most exciting part of your career so far?
It has been extremely exciting to build a business and work with dynamic people who are as passionate about empowering and transforming communities as I am.
What would you tell yourself at age 18?
At 18, I would tell myself to take electives that have nothing to do with my major, do a semester abroad, save money and to enjoy every step of the journey. I would be comfortable with letting go of relationships that aren't healthy and invest more in relationships that last a lifetime. I would learn more about other cultures and take some computer programming classes. Finally, I would eat far less PIZZA. LOL!
How has ACS Scholars impacted your life and career?
ACS Scholars impacted my life and career because it helped meet a financial need that helped this first generation college student stay the course. It was a blessing that helped ease the stress of college affordability.
