I became an academic because I wanted the opportunity to educate and inspire the next generation of engineers as well the freedom to pursue the scientific questions that interested me.

What has been the most exciting part of your career so far?
Participating in the Joint Center for Energy Storage Research (JCESR), which is a DOE Energy Innovation Hub focused on developing transformative battery technology for transportation and the electric grid.
