Going to Stanford and SLAC for the Department of Energy Science Graduate Student Research Program! Winning a science poster award.

What would you tell yourself at age 18?
There is a much bigger world out there than your hometown. Focus on success, take time to have fun, but always be a positive influence.

How has ACS Scholars impacted your life and career?
Yes, the ACS scholarship has always been a great source of pride and confidence for me! It has been useful when applying to the University of Michigan and the DOE SCGSR program.
