Search Tips

Search is NOT case sensitive, and it supports Boolean-style searches, as follows:

• Use “+” for a Boolean “AND” query (i.e., “green + chemistry”)
• Use “-” for a Boolean “NOT” query (i.e., “green - chemistry”)
• Use “OR” for a Boolean “OR” query (i.e., “green OR chemistry”)

1 and 2:
Search Boxes. Enter search terms in either box.

Search box 1 has “suggest as you type” functionality. As you enter text, search term suggestions will appear.

On the Search Results screen, search box 2 will display the search term you entered to get the results being displayed.

3:
Not finding it? Allows you to limit your search to ACS Publications, C&EN Online, the ACS Network, or CAS.

You currently can’t filter by file format and content area simultaneously.
