ACS-FDA Colloquia on Chemistry and Food Safety
About the ACS-FDA Colloquia Series
The US FDA Center for Food Safety and Applied Nutrition (CFSAN) and the American Chemical Society (ACS) have formed a partnership to provide a chemistry colloquium series to be held in College Park, MD. The colloquia focus on high-quality, cutting-edge chemistry related to food, food additives, food packaging, and food safety topics. These sessions will be held in College Park, MD and are available to FDA employees, ACS members, and the public to attend in person or via webcast. Discussion of regulatory issues are outside the scope of the colloquium series. Each half-day training session offers participants a venue to interact with leading technical experts in food chemistry. The first ACS-FDA colloquium, "Frontiers in Flavor Chemistry," was held in 2019.
