Press registration opens for ACS Spring 2021 meeting
WASHINGTON, Jan. 26, 2021 — Journalists may now apply for press credentials for the spring meeting of the American Chemical Society (ACS). At ACS Spring 2021, live technical sessions will be held weekdays April 5–16, with on-demand technical sessions available April 17–30. Embargoed copies of press releases and a press conference schedule will be available later.
ACS considers requests for press credentials and complimentary registration to meetings from reporters (staff and freelance) and public information officers at government, nonprofit and educational institutions. Marketing and public relations professionals, lobbyists and scientists do not qualify as press and must register via the main meeting page. Journal managing editors, book-commissioning editors, acquisitions editors, publishers, and those who do not produce news for a publication or institution also do not qualify. To request credentials, please email us using the contact information included with this release.
The American Chemical Society (ACS) is a nonprofit organization chartered by the U.S. Congress. ACS’ mission is to advance the broader chemistry enterprise and its practitioners for the benefit of Earth and all its people. The Society is a global leader in promoting excellence in science education and providing access to chemistry-related information and research through its multiple research solutions, peer-reviewed journals, scientific conferences, eBooks and weekly news periodical Chemical & Engineering News. ACS journals are among the most cited, most trusted and most read within the scientific literature; however, ACS itself does not conduct chemical research. As a specialist in scientific information solutions (including SciFinder® and STN®), its CAS division powers global research, discovery and innovation. ACS’ main offices are in Washington, D.C., and Columbus, Ohio.
