1,4-Thiazine (AKA parathiazine) is an unsaturated heterocyclic compound with nitrogen and sulfur atoms at the opposite corners of a six-membered ring. It is a liquid with a boiling point of 170 ºC. 1,4-Thiazine itself is relatively rare and has few uses, but it has many derivatives that are used as dyes, pharmaceuticals, and insecticides. Its saturated counterpart is known as thiomorpholine.
