ACS national meeting online press conferences begin Monday, Aug. 21

WASHINGTON, Aug. 17, 2017 — All press conferences from the American Chemical Society’s (ACS’) 254th National Meeting & Exposition in Washington, D.C., will be accessible live on YouTube starting on Monday, Aug. 21, at 9 a.m. EDT. The link is: http://bit.ly/ACSLive_DC.

Anyone can view the press conferences, but to chat online, you must first sign in using a Google account.

The press conferences will take place all day on Monday, Aug. 21, and Tuesday, Aug. 22. They will end at about 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 23.

The press conference videos also will be available online after the briefings at the same webpage: http://bit.ly/ACSLive_DC.

ACS is holding its national meeting in Washington, D.C., from Sunday, Aug. 20, through Thursday, Aug. 24. It features nearly 9,400 presentations on a wide range of science topics.

For those attending the meeting in person, ACS will operate a press center in the Walter E. Washington Convention Center, Room 154A, with Wi-Fi, computers and refreshments.
