Press registration opens for ACS Spring 2021 meeting
WASHINGTON, Jan. 26, 2021 — Journalists may now apply for press credentials for the spring meeting of the American Chemical Society (ACS). At ACS Spring 2021, live technical sessions will be held weekdays April 5–16, with on-demand technical sessions available April 17–30. Embargoed copies of press releases and a press conference schedule will be available later.
ACS considers requests for press credentials and complimentary registration to meetings from reporters (staff and freelance) and public information officers at government, nonprofit and educational institutions. Marketing and public relations professionals, lobbyists and scientists do not qualify as press and must register via the main meeting page. Journal managing editors, book-commissioning editors, acquisitions editors, publishers, and those who do not produce news for a publication or institution also do not qualify.
