Kavli Lectures to feature bonding through chemistry at ACS Spring 2022

WASHINGTON, March 8, 2022 — Chemical bonding is a subject nearly as old as chemistry itself, and the theme will be highlighted in a pair of Kavli Lectures at the spring meeting of the American Chemical Society (ACS), which will take place in San Diego on March 20-24.

ACS Spring 2022 will be a hybrid meeting, both in-person and virtual, with on-demand content available through April 8. The meeting will include oral and poster talks, networking events and more. These presentations will be among more than 12,000 scheduled to take place during the meeting. The Kavli Lecture Series is a result of a collaboration between ACS and The Kavli Foundation, an internationally recognized philanthropic organization known for its support of basic scientific innovation.

ACS Spring 2022 will be a vaccination-required and mask-recommended meeting for ALL attendees, exhibitors, vendors, and ACS staff who plan to attend the in-person meeting in San Diego, CA. All individuals will need to be fully vaccinated by March 6, 2022, 14 days from the start of ACS Spring 2022. Acceptable proof of vaccination will be required. All attendees are expected to fully comply with all health and safety guidelines. Failure to adhere to the requirements could lead to removal from the venue or other disciplinary action.
