ACS national awards

• ACS Award for Achievement in Research for the Teaching and Learning of Chemistry
  Recognizes outstanding contributions to experimental research that lead to the improved teaching and learning of chemistry
• ACS-CEI Award for Incorporation of Sustainability in Chemistry Education
  Recognizes individuals or groups who creatively incorporate sustainability into chemical education
• George C. Pimentel Award in Chemical Education
  Recognizes outstanding contributions to chemical education
• J. Calvin Giddings Award for Excellence in Education
  Honors excellence in analytical chemistry education

ACS local section awards

• California Section Community College Teacher Award
  Honors excellence among two-year college chemistry faculty on the California Local Section
• College Educator Award for Excellence in Teaching
  Given for excellence in teaching chemistry, biochemistry, or a chemistry-related field at a post-secondary institution in the Southern Arizona Local Section that does not offer a Ph.D.-granting program in that field.
• Outstanding Achievement in College Chemistry Teaching
  Honors excellence among postsecondary chemistry faculty on the Midland Local Section
• Section Award for Excellence in Teaching at a Two-Year College
  Honors excellence among two-year college chemistry faculty on the Greater Houston Local Section
• Teacher-Scholar Award For Community College Chemistry Faculty
  Honors excellence among two-year college chemistry faculty on the Santa Clara Valley Local Section

  Honors excellence in inquiry-based, college-level science education
• Presidential Awards for Excellence in Science, Engineering and Mathematics Mentoring*
