2025 Community of Practice for Two Year College Faculty
Join a cohort of two year college colleagues as part of a 4-month virtual academic incubator to develop, implement, and improve active learning techniques in your courses.

Audience: Faculty members at 4-year institutions that are in years 1-3 of their faculty appointment.
Workshop includes the following
- Introduction to active learning techniques.
- Developing a research group.
- Funding strategies.
- Balancing teaching, research, and service.
- Supporting a diverse, equitable, and inclusive environment for students

Two-Year College Faculty Workshop
Audience: Faculty members teaching at two-year colleges.
Workshop includes the following
- Introduction of active learning techniques.
- Addressing the unique needs of two year college faculty and students.
- Development of an active learning module
- Creating a community of practice for two-year college faculty

Audience: New department chairs (incoming chairs and in years 1-3).

- The department, including planning and leading effective meetings.
- People, including effective strategies of conflict resolution.
- Resources, including budgeting, staffing, and working with your administration.
- Yourself, including effective tips for delegating and finding a semblance of work/life balance.
