Enigmazole A is a cytotoxic macrolide from the marine sponge Cinachyrella enigmatica and the subject of two articles in the current issue of JACS, one on its isolation, structure determination, and absolute stereochemistry, and the other on its 22-step total synthesis. Enigmazole A is also featured in the 100th JACS Beta Image Challenge.
