Lisa M. Balbes is Balbes Consultants LLC. She earned her bachelor’s degrees in chemistry and psychology from Washington University in St Louis and her Ph.D. in chemistry from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
She has been a freelance technical writer and editor since 1992, and a member of ACS since 1986.
